I am replacing my old knackered gas cooker with a new Gas cooker. It seems to be connected with metal fittings at each end and a rubber hose between these fittings. Which end should I remove, do they both come apart easily? They look as if they are secured with large hex nuts. Sorry to be thick, but I am clueless!!

p.s is it safe and legal for me to do this??

If you need to use tools to disconnect it "NO" get someone in.

If you don't know what to do, same applies. Get someone in.
