Hi,
Would it be ok to use a 30A breaker on this? The cable looks to be 6mm? I was going to connect it to the current cabling which is 10mm to 30A breaker or should I reduce it to a 25A?

I’m fairly confident that L1&L2 go together on a single phase but I don’t have so much pride that I don’t ask for confirmation
Thanks
Jake

30amp? That must be an old board. Todays MCBs are 32 amp.

Re the connection drawing. What are we looking at? Oven/hob? What make and model? Why is the second terminal blanked out? Did it say N?

Hi Taylor ,
Sorry I meant 32A, it’s just how the light caught the label yes it’s neutral , earth , l1&2

It’s a built in oven and hob both belling,
The oven is a bl160fp, not actually unpacked that yet but I think it’s just a 13A switched fused spure but need to check.
Not sure atm what model is of the hob
Thanks
Jake

Ok. For the wiring, brown and black to live.
Blue to neutral, green/yellow to earth.

I think it’s just a 13A switched fused spur
You cannot use that. The oven must be hardwired to the 6mm/32amp supply. You don’t need to put in a 25A breaker!
But, before doing anything, need to know the spec of the hob. I expect you’d like to run that from the same circuit as the oven?

Bel Ch602T re hob.

Ideally using the same circuit for ease if it’s got to be hard wired, not sure why I thought it was a 13A I’ve not really looked at it as I’ve been installing some of the cabinets but I’m upto the oven housing now so sorting the wiring before the carcass is the right time
Thanks
Jake

7000watts is a lot more than 13amp
The 7kW was for the Hob, the OP believed the single oven was 13A.

The BI602FP is rated as 3kW @240v - the website suggests it should be 'fused' at 16A

So yes, they both should be hardwired, but the single oven is very close to 13A :)
