Happy New Year all (think it's just about acceptable to still say this almost a week in?)

I'm looking at replacing a number of our white plastic sockets with some stainless steel Schneider Lisse models. Most of these will be on a 32A ring mains. From the research I've done, I believe (but would like to confirm) that I would be fine with putting some 3 way 221 Wagos to keep the ring connected, and essentially "spur" off the ring to connect a trailing set of wires to the socket itself? (i.e. what I'm trying to avoid is the usual mess of having to screw multiple wires into each socket terminal - inevitably when the wires are shorter than I'd like!

If that bit is fine, then can I also confirm if the wires from 2.5mm (either T&E or flex cable) would be OK to go to the socket (i.e. presumable 4mm not required)? Aware that these themselves would not be 32A rated, but in the absolute worst case where there were 2x13A loads on a double socket, we seem to be about in the right place?

Many thanks!

The general rule is to try to avoid additional junctions in a circuit as these are the first things to cause problems.
Some craftsperson installed the sockets originally, so you should be able to sort it.

Luckily 2.5mm cable is good for 27amps on a good day. Luckily that is a gnats nadger over 2x13amp!
Stop press, maybe somebody planned it like that?
