hi has any body got any tips on diy.the boards are 14' across*9".next doors had theres done by two blokes on ladders.what sort of materials are best?+fixings thanks
Depend on the condition of your fascia board, if the wood fascia is free of rots then a L-shape upvc fascia will do over the old fascia board. If the old fascia board is coming off for whatever reason then you need a approximately 25mm thickness upvc fascia board. I don't use screw & cap as they can be a bit of a eyesore plus they do dis-coloured after a while. The white plastic cover nail head are the best for fixing or whatever colour you need.
cheers for your reply masona.the end piece is starting to rot but the rest is satistactory.dont know wether to take it of and put fresh on.will it be more than 100 quid for raw materials?thanks
