Is it ok to reroute an internal soil vent pipe? by doing so I can gain some much needed space in a cramped bathroom.

Option1: Reroute the vent using two 45 degree bends to move it to a corner of the bathroom, vent goes through the roof so it will need another set of 45 degree bends to join back to the original line when it reaches the roof.

Option2. Fit AAV 200mm above the highest waste entry which is the wash basin waste entry. This would be the ideal solution if possible.

Thanks both, I'll go with option one and use bends.

I am capable of doing this myself but am I allowed to? Does this involve building regs and stuff.

Probably ok if you treat it as a repair/maintenance and I doubt a surveyor would pick it up on a sale so your risk. Just make sure its a good job

Just wanted to note, vents have to be 900mm above any openable window within 3 metres; the easiest vent route for you might thus be through a wall and finish, depending on where your windows are, rather than taking it up up and away..

Thaks but I won't be touching the part inside the loft and it goes straight through the roof , so I assume above doesn't apply to the change I will be doing.

If all you are doing is altering the dry section of the stack then fire on, just make sure the joins are nice and tight if you are using ring seal connections.
