Hi my current driveway continues into the garage and consists of concrete of sufficient depth, but not smooth and level, and has some cracks. I have ordered a 4 head concrete grinder from abroad, thinking to sell it afterwards and have an industrial hoover I can connect to it for dust. I know to pressure wash it afterwards, and apply a primer before resin and scatter coat, with possibly a seal coat on top. I am thinking of daltex tru grip 1-3mm for the aggregate. The main purpose is smooth and grippy rolling surface for motorcycles/small car, cosmetics noy particularly important, just want it to work and last. Choice of resin bond/scatter coat is ease of application compared to bound.
My problem is choosing a resin for BOND - the ones I see dont seem to include the UV Resistance of the BOUND/permeable ones.
Please may I ask for advice on a good cost/performance choice for the resin, and any points I may not have thought of? I have read the pavingexpert article on Resin BOND.
Thanks
Graham
