Resin Joint Failed

Recently has the garden landscapes and today I noticed that the resin jointing has failed and shrunk in one particular area.

Is this just a case of settling or a sign of a bigger issue? I didn’t expect this type of jointing to come away so easily.

The jointing was installed around the time which we had quite heavy rainfall...
I am contacting the landscaper tomorrow but wanted some more opinions

As above, and i doubt they will come back, I'd not want who did that near my house.
