Hi, I'd like to make the size of my bathroom window opening smaller. I'd then get a new window fitted or if it's possible, use the right hand panel of the existing window. It looks like it may be possible to cut the window down the middle joining bar (to the left side in order to keep most of the width of the bar), to affectively create one single top hanging uPVC window frame.
There may be some joining metal in the horizontal bars top and bottom perhaps. Does anyone have experience of this or know of it's possible or just not done?
We'll replace all of the windows in a few years so don't want to wast much on a new one.
Any help much appreciated. Thanks
