Hi folks
I appreciate this is a daft question but I'll ask anyway.
The bay window's 'render' (pictured) is in bad shape; not been painted for a few years and in fact I've just noticed that some of it has blown in particular at the bottom left corner (those dark spots you can see). Holes have appeared when the covering has flaked off and behind it is wood, which so far from the tiny piece I can see, looks ok. Admittedly, there's a lot more to reveal!
But here's the question: Is this 'render'? To be honest it just looks like thick textured paint. I want it fixing of course but am trying to ascertain if it's a case of scraping off all the blown material and 'repainting' (DIY) or if in fact it is a proper render job which I most certainly would not attempt.
***RESOLVED THANKS***
