As usual no explanation is forthcoming.
So I'll reply to your comments here.

I'm addressing your responses in order:

I did mention it as an incidental benefit. It is fair to assess all the benefits. As I previou;sy said: I have never suggested, and I'm not now suggesting, it was the primary rationale for the new limit.

This was the alert I received.

I have no idea what posts upset anyone. So if anybody has any ideas, please explain.

Or is it someone just reporting my posts because they can?
Admin have told me that they don't read the posts, they just delete them. So perfectly innocuous posts may have been deleted.

I'm not in the habit of reporting posts, especially innocuous ones, just because I don't like them.
You might be, and we've witnessed your spite many times over, but I'm not like that.

Mottie's spite towards ellal, (and the reverse) is pretty obvious.
Anyone who persistently drags up posts from years ago, has a problem that they can't let go of.
It's obvious with mottie's constant allegations of some people having multiple member names.
He has a problem of "getting over it". Something which he regularly advises others to do.
He can't let it go. he persistenlty drags up issues over and over again.

There are plenty of other posts that are extremely offensive. here's an example:

Perverts will be along shortly to display their outrage at such a decision.

But you'll happily ignore that one.
It's yet another example of you choosing what to support, and what to criticise.

Your judgement and your actions are influenced by your own prejudices.

Mottie's spiteful attacks don't bother me, otherwise I'd report them. And I'm not in the habit of reporting posts. I'm happy to allow offensive posts to remain so that all can see the nature of the writer.
His spite and vexatious nature seems pretty evident to me.
His attacks are nothing to do with any ideological differences of opinion, they're simply spiteful attacks.
Like ReganandCrater ( and others) will exploit every opportuity to spout anti-foreigner, anti-immigrant hatred, Mottie will exploit any opportunity to foment an argument.
This was just another one of those occasions. And it seems to have dragged you into it.
One wonders why.

That brought back a merry memory from the early days of t'interweb when i found myself at the end of a mad argument over who the hero of The Lord of the Rings is - this dude went totally insane when i persisted in telling him the hero is Samwise Gamgee and he rolled round and round the bend insisting it was Frodo.
All i had to do was drop a line in to Yahoo! chat and off he went, for hour after hour; day after day.
He's still there for all i'm aware; raving into the void...
