I co-own the ground floor of a house just like in the attached photo. The paint around the windows is peeling / flaking, the window cill is chipped and looking tired.

I'd like to renovate the front and was wondering if my steps were correct or not?

1. Scrape off all visible peeling / cracked paint
2. Sand using 80 grit
3. Apply Toupret external filler
4. Sand with 120 and 180 grit
5. Apply fine external filler
6. Clean surfaces
7. Paint with a coat of white masonry paint

Is that pretty much it (plenty of elbow grease involved) or are there big gaps / flaws in my plan / I have missed something significant in terms of procedure?
