Restoring heavily scratched worktop

Hi guys

Just moved into a house and the kitchen worktops are heavily scratched. It's pretty much like that on every inch of the worktop. I accept that I will may need to get new worktops but anyone know ant solutions to getting rid of these scratches?
Everywhere I search on the net it just has solutions for single big scratches rather than loads of little ones like this.

You could try acrylic bath, scratch repair kit, but most likely new tops ..

How about something like the polishing kits for plastic headlights?
Lots of polishing compound, lots of fine grade wet n dry and lots of polishing with an electric drill & drill mop head ?
