We’ve recently had a new concrete subfloor poured. It will be finished with insulation and then screed.
When we had the concrete poured we had to suspend the staircase in the air so we could pour under it, it now needs resupporting from the floor.
Should it be resupported directly against the concrete (cold side of the floor) and insulation layered on top of the support? I guess this would make for the more stable solution? Are there any problems pouring screed around the wood upstands of the support?
Or can/should it be resupported on top of the insulation and screed once it’s down?
