first post here , probably first of many im sure.
Ive got a 4 foot ventilated airgap under my floor.
the floor its self is a sectional steel reinforced concrete sitting on top of brick foundations.
The dirt on the floor of the crawl space is damp to touch after heavy rain due to water table heights(field over the road at the same height floods in heavy rain)
Id like to insulate under the floor - currently im leaning towards glasswool held up with plastic mesh but have been warned against this due to high chance of mice infestation and the dampness of the earth affecting it ?
Any ideas of the best way to go about insulating this floor would be appreciated.
