Reusing copper pipe

Hiya is it wise to reuse central heating copper pipe for warm tap supply (no drinking involved, I mean no drinking water) does the black stuff get cleared out quick or does it remain polluting the supply slowly for years? I could save loadsa money if it worked .

i know the economy is tight but not that tight that we start reusing everything.

How do you intend to clean out all of the black stuff? You may think that you have cleared it all, but a lot will still be left behind, and is sure to loosen and either come out of the taps or block things up at a later date.

If you REALLY need to save money, why not use plastic Speedfit pipe?
