after a rewire duz the spark plaster the chaces or is it down too the home owner. Or do u use a plasterer for this as im looking for a spark in essex for a 3 bed rewire
im a plasterer and i just wanted to know if you do it or get a spread in or not a tall
amd are the wires cased n cable chanels then plastered

Depends what you've agreed, but normally the electrician should "make good"

But if you are a plasterer, and feel more confident in your own work, just ask him / her to work this into the price.

Cables don't have to be in capping as long as your not going to damage them with the trowel.

I usually fill in the chases, one coat plaster rubbed back with one or two coats of jointing compound with a sanding between coats.

As for chased in wiring, my preference is to put it in conduit and if you dont want the extra chasing and expense just clip them to the walls. Most customers want the bare bones price so clipping in the chase is normally what happens :(
