Ridge Tiles

We have a detached garage with a slate roof and concrete ridge tiles, most of the ridge tiles have blown off due to the cowboy builders. As well as the mortar bed should the ridge tiles be screwed or nailed into position.

depends on location.. If you live on the sea front then mechanical fixing is good . Normally bedded correctly there will not be a problem in inland areas.

It also depends on if the tile have a hole to screw them down!
