ridge tiles

I have to replace three or four ridge tiles for the enth time. Any ideas on how they may be fixed permenantly. House is pretty well exposed to high winds.

A good strong mix , say 1:4 mortar should do the job .

If this is a regular problem might be a idea to to fix Ridgefast System instead.

If you set in plenty of compo to the inside of the ridge tile and bed down onto this and point the outer side as well as a full bed between each tile they will never ever move.

Spent Sunday morning pointing the outside well

So far so good

as legs says its all about getting a big enough dollop of muck at the joints.You need the weight of this to stop the tiles moving also pointing along the base if there is any gap will stop the wind getting under them
