Ridge Tiles

We lost some ridge tiles in the winds last week and have been ringing around to get quotes. All quoting around the same price but one was different to the others.

He offered up a quote for replacing the ones lost or he could take them all off and replace them with what he called a ewn product were the ridge tile is clipped on and guarenteed not to come off. It did say that these are recommended by insurance companies and that some have even paid out to replace them all with the new sytle rather then just repair and leave the risk for future claims.

Anyone heard of them or know there actual name and how they work?

Yes they're called Dry Fix System, see here but the best one is the ventilation type which give you a good air flow from bottom to top, see this
