I have decided its time to get a little right angle drill, as I have had a few tasks that it really would have saved some time cutting out holes (up to 60mm), and getting screws in better.

They seem to cost a fortune generally. I have found a cheaper Makita one, which happens to use the same battery as my little drill driver and impact driver:- http://www.buyaparcel.com/p/makita-...-10-8v-cordless-angle-drill-li-ion-bare-unit/

Any thoughts?

Thanks
Tim

Go for it, esp as you already have batteries. They are so handy, and the Makita looks to be very well designed.

I have a monster of a corded Milwaukee 14Amp 1/2". Its no longer made - but i still use it for everything and anything.

yes it looks a good tool as you have the batteries all ready the perfect choice

like most angle drill is a compromise between speed and function
with the average drill in the 400-600 low and1500-2500high range
at 400rpm it typically in the low range but perfect for screwing and iff required can drill holes all be it at a more sedate scale
i love ffx ;)
