Iam currently having an extension done and the builder has forgot to tape up the joints with foil tape on the rigid board insulation but it is tongue and grooved, all the walls are now up, will it pass inspection or not? And if not could we use insulated plasterboard on the inside to save taking down the outer leaf of blockwork?

If it's covered up, how will the inspector know?
(Answering my own question) Have you taken pictures?
Is there a cavity or spacers between insulation and outer leaf of wall?

Insulated plasterboard won't hurt, or you could just use foil backed to save space, (assuming your wall u values meet regs)
