I was recently working on an installation in a school ICT room. It was wired as follows.

From a 32a type C MCB
6.0mm² T+E connected to incomming side of a 45A DP switch mounted in dado trunking.
Connected to out going side of the isolator was a ring final circuit feeding the ICT suite sockets in the same dado trunking.

Would you class this circuit as a radial, ring or some sort of hybrid circuit?

I have done something similar to this before but I put a mini CU in and made it into a submain.

i'd say you document it as what it is, a ring fed by a 6mm run from the CU with a DP switch in between. Its a bit unusual sure but i can't think of any regs it would break.

as for testing it you'd probablly wan't to treat it as a ring fed by a submain (e.g. disconnect it from the isolator to do ring continuity tests).
