My favourite band. Altough I preferred then post-Barret, he was still a great influence as to the direction they developed.

Let's hope he is now 'out of his misery' :confused:

I doubt that anyone in here knew the Floyd when Barrett was involved. At that time they were pretty much underground.

I think I first head of them after the release of Atom Heart Mother.

Oh well, out with the old etc. No doubt there'll be some crummy tribute gig by the rest of them, assuming they're not too senile to hold down a 7/8 for any length of time. (Think Money, if you're rhythmically challenged) . lol

If you think Gilmour might be senile listen to his new album. It's brilliant and as good as anything he did with Floyd

They're still to busy arguing to have a tribute gig
