Hi guys,

The wireless sensors for the Risco Agility 2 are supposedly tamper proof, but I need to take one down to wallpaper the corner of the room.

Is there a way for me to do this myself, without having an installer come out?

Thanks in advance.

They're not "tamper proof" but they will generate a tamper signal it you open them up. You will be able to stop the noise with your code but you may or may not be able to reset the alarm afterwards - it depends how your installer set it up. If your system is communicated and less than a couple of years old, it may also send a tamper/fault signal to the central station or ARC.

If you risk it, the worst than can happen is that you have to call the installer to reset the alarm. If you don't, he'll need to come out twice.

Alternatively, cut the wallpaper round the detector. ;)
