moz...depending on the circumstances of death, an autopsy does not have to be performed. genrally speaking an autopsy is performed when cause of death is unknown, or is brought into question by law officials or requested by next of kin....but in this case still has to represented by law. As far as transferring a body....in this case if I am hearing you correctly, across borders.....this is where it gets tricky. It all depends on circumstances, and....there might be "official waiver" which means that on higher authority, the body can be transferred just about anywhere and disposed of in an appropriate manner...which really in laymens terms means....if you have a big enough badge...you can do just about anything you want.....not officially of course....but bottom line....and every country just like different states in the US have different laws governing autopsy.....fraid I havent really answered your question after all. sorry, my information is limited.
