Hello everyone. I've signed up to ask for a little help with one of these wall hung wc's. I moved house & inherited one in the bathroom.

It became apparent that it was leaking & has been for some considerable time. I've ended up chopping out the rotten plasterboard concealing the cistern & frame & removed it to replace the flush pipe seals at the pan & cistern, reinstated it, leveled & tightened everything up twice now & it still leaks from the cistern outlet.

I've gone as far as filling the cistern from the tap & checking the seal for leaks & it doesn't so I'm guessing there is some stress or off level twisting going on when it's in situ.

I'm reaching the point where I'm thinking of replacing the lot but the question I have is this - the cistern end flush pipe has two o rings. Is there any alternative I can try that might work better? And any tips in installation that might assist in sealing it tight?

For clarity, the pipe seal to the pan is leak free, it's the push fit cistern end that is leaking.

Pic attached if that helps. Thanks everyone.

When does it leak, continually or just when it's flushed?

Continually, so I guess the drain valve isn't sealing either. However, I could live with water draining continually into the pan, what I can't take is it seeping out of the cistern onto the floor.

The leak is from the cistern outlet into the flush pipe. Specifically, the cistern connects to the flush pipe by a push fit arrangement that is sealed by two o-rings fitted into grooves on the cistern outlet. The flush pipe pushes over this. That is the source of the leak.

Listen, thanks for your help - I do appreciate it but I've come to the view that the whole thing is worn out to the point that I've now ordered a replacement to fit. Now I'm wondering if I can bolt on one of those nice Ideal Standard aquablade pans to it...
