Hi all
I have an old tiled roof which has no membrane and has had the tiles cemented on. Now the cement has crumbled and is on the ceilings in the loft space.
Ive ordered loft insulation as its non-existant and before I lay it down, I want to ensure none of the cement falls on to the insulation. I wanted to sheet the inside with black dpc type menbrane but thinner. Is this ok to use this or is a breathable membrane the thing to use. Of course the plastic sheet is much cheaper and comes in wider rolls.
Thanks in advance
