Hello
I have just employed a builder to fit new PVC fascia, guttering, etc. When I returned home all the tiles on the gable end had been cut. the builder admitted that this was because he'd got the measurements wrong for the soffit and barge board (he used smaller ones than the originals). The overhang was then excessive so he cut the tiles off.
Can anyone advise if this is acceptable? I am worried that because the tiles face upwards, water might get into the cement verge. I also think it looks rubbish.
Any advice wuold be helpful.
Cheers,
