Hi All,
I recently had a new window put in my loft (the old one would not even open anymore). Therefore, I finally got to get a good look outside. Whilst cleaning the gutter I saw this large opening under the slate. This has not been picked up by the surveyor, however they noted that they wer unable to open the window during inspection.
Is this supposed to be open like this exposing the rafter? If there is a little wind blowing, I definitely can see water going inside. If not, any suggestions for quick fixes to avoid further damage?
