I'm reslating a single storey lean to, and I noticed when I put on the bottom most strip of membrane it does not sit exactly level along the incline of the roof, instead it hits the eves board (which was already in place before I removed the old covering) and has to bow up slightly before trailing over into the gutter. This means that any water which gets through the slate will pool before eventually spilling over into the gutter.
Is this normal, or should all the battens, final eves board and top edge of gutter all be in a straight level line?
