I have to felt a summerhouse roof - starting in about an hours time today.
It has 4 equal triangular sides that all meet at a point in the middle.
I have already put on the felt underlay and plan to do the top cover today.
I need to know how to lay the last piece or 2 so that I don't have an awkward cut at the point which is necessary for the felt to lie flat on all 4 sides?
I have laid the underlay as you would a basic 2 sided garden shed - long over lapping lengths but the top piece had to be cut and folded on top of each other so it was flat on the insulation underneath.
I don't want to have to do this for the outer top layer.
What shape should I cut my pieces?!
Hope it makes sense..
Help appreciated.
Thanks
Nathan
