I have recently experienced a couple of leaks and my ex-landlord was responsible for repairs. He has rebedded the tiles in the area but says that the 2foot tear in the felt has no bearing on the problem. As he is still responsible I think he may be trying to cut costs. As the recent rain seemed to soak the tiles which are visible shouldn`t the felt be repaired to stop drips etc.? Does anyone know the reason why the felt is there when the landlord says it is not necessary?
