Roof Light Replacement

Hi everyone, first post on here but just reaching out for some advice on a roof light..

It’s at the top of my stairs leading to loft room and it’s mouldy and old. I have been quoted around £1100 to replace.

its 58x78! I have attached a picture but would just like to know if any other alternatives because it can be cold condensed and is only singled glazed!

You need to be looking at Velux roof windows. £1100 seems not unreasonable, depending on access. You are looking at around £700 just for the window itself.
