Hi

I am looking into what is available to line a roof on a house. The situation currently is it is a old tiled roof (in good order) but due to the age there is no membrane between the loft space and the tiles. I was wondering what products are out there that could be used to line the inside of the roof. I have heard of the expanding foam system that is sprayed onto the inside if the roof, but have also heard that this can cause issues by pushing tiles off and repairs at a later date can be trick. Anyone heard of anything else that can be used.

Cheers Dave

I was not going to use the spay foam. This is partly the reason I was asking what other systems are out there to get a good idea of what could be done.

The reason for doing this is to try and cut down the noise and draughts. While the roof is essentially sound it has been very noisy and draughty recently with the high winds. It seems to be the wind getting forced through the gaps in the tiles making a decent amount of noise and draughts,

Cheers Dave
