Roof replaced advice

Just had a roof replaced would be grateful for any advice
wondered if any experts can advise if this is how it should be where it joins to next doors roof

There are two ways to join different tiles on a roof.

You can either use a flat fibreglass bonding gutter like in your photo or a one with a ridge. Jump to 3:50 in the video.
