Could anyone tell me if you can build a traditional hip ended roof that has a span of 6 metres.thanks.

its just i read that over 6m in span it had to be trusses with girder truss and mono trusses.is there extra precautions you have to take with traditional hip roof at that span.

its a shallow pitch aswell maybe 20 degrees.is there a certain height the collar ties must be placed.
