Roof trusses - Make your own????

I was considering making my own roof trusses for a double garage, I will be using metal cladding sheets for the roof.

Firstly is it that difficult for someone with good DIY skills, or is it best left to the proffessional, any advice would be great.

Might be easier to have the roof trusses made for you, I always found it's quicker, easier and cheaper

making your own trusses is commonly known as building a cut roof.

i don't think it is a job for a diy'er though.
