Hi I'm just looking for advice. I'm thinking about capping my chimney as it's no longer in use. However when I went to have a look I noticed one pot is cracked. Would it be ok to seal with concrete and put cap on after? Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Can you stop any concrete sliding down the flue, even once set?

Water ingress from the flaunching into the crack and then down the flue?
