I recently built a little program called Databank ideally for the roofing trade
The program will store your customers, quotes and workorders so you can easily check the history of a certain job / customer
The quoting system also stores all quotes for the customer, and is simply a case of entering the job details, selecting the materials from a drop down menu and hit print, prints out a nice Quote / Estimate
The Workorders stores all previous work done for that customer, and again simply click on print and out comes the Invoice, you can also print out a workorder report which you would give to the tradesmen for the job
It has a schedule report to show when the guys were there, what work was done and how long it took
There is an appointment diary, Slate calculator with an adjustable percentage of waste.
Also included is some financial reports - Profit / Loss for job etc etc
THere is a section that stores all your employees, Employee Absence and Employee Warnings etc
It has taken 14 months to build this little application and is currently ready for testing..
