Hi

I have a 37CDI Worcester boiler and a wireless worcester room thermostat. the problem is with the room thermostat i have as i keep having to change the batteries every 4 days.
I just want a thermostat that I can wire directly to the mains and would prefer a honeywell brand.

What do i need to buy to be able to have a mains operated room thermostat? (if i can get a 7 day programmer built in with the room thermostat that would be even better as i wouldnt have to keep going to the boiler to operate it)
thanks very much in advance

I have a Honeywell CM907 programmable room stat which requires two wires. It has batteries for the clock but I haven't changed them in three years.

thanks for the replies. so if i go for the honeywell cmt907 do i need to connect 2 wires to the boiler and is this easy to do? will i still need to put batteries in? (http://www.plumbnation.co.uk/site/honeywell-cmt907-7-day-programmerable-room-thermostat/)

You will need to disconnect the wireless stat and connect the CM907 at the boiler. Your old receiver may have 4 wires, including a live and neutral so be careful. Easy if you have an electrician. You will need batteries fitted as most, if not all, programmable stats do. They are only for the clock and switching and last for ages.
