A month ago all windows were replaced with nice new Rosewood windows . Ive now noticed marks on most frames as though they have been touched up . For instance most corner joints have a line and also various patches dotted around all over the place . The problem is its a completely different colour so when the light catches it it stands out and very noticeable from at least 5-10 meters away . So question is are these just marks from handling or construction that should be cleaned off at installation or has someone just gone mad with a dodgy touch up stick ??? Thanks

Corner welds usually need touching up as the plastic goes white when knifed or grooved or where the splurge is in the internal mitres, as for the faces then there shouldn't be any need to touch up unless it's chipped. There are 2 coloured pens, rosewood which is like dark chocolate and then mahogany which is like milk chocolate, sounds like they used the wrong pen

Thank you very much that’s what I was thinking . Now the question is can that be removed and redone with the right one !! Else I can see a small argument arising over 18ks worth of windows !!! The only wierd thing is some of the random patches of this all over the place so maybe there are scuffs here and there . To be honest I hadn’t noticed at all until the sun was bright today so maybe they didn’t either . Having said that I only just noticed that one random window handle was the wrong colour over the whole house so maybe it’s me who needs to go to specsavers .
