Rotten eggs water smell

Hi, can anyone advise? When we turn on the taps in our en suite, it smells like rotten eggs. Its only this room that does this. How do i cure this? Any pointers please.

Could be from your shower trap possibly being caused by the water being syphoned out from the trap. Try putting some tape over the drain in the shower & see if the smell goes away. Obviously without being there it's only guesswork.

Probably coming back up the basin overflow. Lots of spray bleach down it!!

If the taps have been plumbed in recycled copper pipe you can get this. Pipe used previously for gas should not be used for water.

Bleach down the overflow as previously mentioned. If your pour water into the basin from a glass or bucket , does it still smell?
Could be an open ended waste pipe hidden somewhere or a faulty air admittance valve on the basin trap.
