Rough finish with roller

Good morning everyone,

I have just been painting my living room, using Dulux rich matt and a paint roller. Now the paint has dried I have a fairly rough texture to my walls - not lumpy or visibly rough to any great extent, but having the feel of a fine sandpaper. Is there anyway I can get it smoother or is this just the "orange peel" effect that people describe when using a roller?

Its down to the paint...its a roughish finish...you may need to sand it over with 100 grade and then overcoat with traditional stuff...
