i have a problem with drivers leccy window, happened twice in last 2 weeks, window has remained down after i wound it all the way down, i managed to get it back up by slamming the drivers door until it started working, it appears to only happen if window is wound all way down. any ideas anyone?

Sounds like it coule be one or both of two things.
Either the window is coming of the runner at the bottom, or the regulator is worn/loose.
The only way to find out is to take the door panel off and operate the window while watching the mechanism. The parts aren't expensive from a scrappy

Possibly a poor electrical connection or broken wire in the rubber grommet from the car body to the door.
