RSJ HELP

Any advice is welcome, thankyou.

We need an RSJ fitted, We have the RSJ size 178 x 102. Question, how long will it take to fit this one steel?

Its about 3 meters long, we have acros holding up the celling but. the quote from our builder is quite high.

£2500 and 4 men, is this accurate?

it totally depends on access and ease of fitting.

is the RSJ in position? -typically the RSJ has to be on the floor tight to the wall before acrows and or acrows and strong boys are put in position

A straightforward RSJ on the ground floor, easy access would take 2 guys a day and need a genii lift ......cost about £500 -£600

A steel for a loft conversion with awkward access.....a different story.
