Hi

Im looking at getting the current wall between my bathroom and toilet knocked through.

Bathroom and Toilet in blue.

The wall is about 1.5m long, and 100-150mm thick and runs perpendicular to the joists as shown below.

So do you think it will need an RSJ (as well as the boiler moving)?

What is the wall made of that you intend to knock down?
Looks like you would get away without on, judging by diagrams and photos, but would always recommend getting a SE in to do calcs, if the walls are of brick/block construction.

It's definitely made of brick. The top wall of the toilet is the original external wall of the house so it's pretty close to the wall I was hoping to remove.

You say it's brick, but is it just 'brick-on-edge'? This was a common way of forming non-loadbearing partitions years ago.
If so, it's unlikely to to be loadbearing.
In any case, the dividing wall between a bathroom and wc is rarely structural.
