RTC89.716 wiring

Hello all,

I'm in the process of installing an RTC89.716 thermostat for underfloor heating.
Ports on the back are marked as follows...

1 - AC230V L
2 - AC230V N
3 - N1
4 - L1
5 - Blank
6 - Sensor
7 - Sensor

The instructions are a bit crap. I'm assuming that the live and neutral from the heating wires go to ports 3 and 4 ?

Havnt fitted one of these stats but from your description I'd say

1 - L Supply in
2 - N Supply in
3 - N1 to heating cable
4 - L1 to heating cable
5 - Blank
6 - Floor Sensor probe
7 - Floor sensor probe

Did you install it? If so, which did you way round (red/white) did you do the sensor?

It won't make any difference to the sensor which way round it's wired
