I'm trying to construct a waterproof air-brick cover which can be quickly attached when flooding is likely.
I need to have about an inch of stud projecting, one on each side of the air brick (in stone) so that I can slide the (varnished wooden) cover over and tighten with a butterfly nut. I've seen anchors with studs in a catalogue but not sure about drill size or tightening them.
Any thoughts on the type of rubber seal would be useful - it would be glued to the wooden cover and be compressed to a flat cement layer surrounding the air-brick. Thanks
