rubbish picture

As much as I love the world cup, is it just me or did it seem better when the picture was grainy, the sound was like they were commentating over the phone as opposed to picture and sound quality as good as if it were being played at old trafford?

Or am I just being romantic?

I dunno never watched before '62.
Grainy, telephone like sound?... Where were you Monf'kingolia.... Although could be Wales or Scotland they don't really know what major soccer is about... One lot communicating by coracle and the others when given telegraph poles just started tossing 'em at each other... wearing skirts to boot !!

I never watched before 82, but the picture and sound were still rubbish.
I guarantee, look at clips of zico and co in spain 82. theres no disguising the fact that its abroad.
