Normally go to another branch of PH. In fact, I've been to several, they've been OK.

We booked a meal there for our 9 yo's birthday party the other night. We asked them to provide a cake and balloons.

They did neither. Luckily, as I wanted it to be a surprise, I had not told him about either of them. But we were disapponted nonetheless.

So, I look into a complaint. Find the PH US site which invites you to register a complaint. I selected UK from the drop-down, to find myself redirected to the UK site, but the home page, not the complaints or contact us page. When I clicked contact us, I got a 404....

There is absolutely no way to complain about PH. I suppose that's one way to have 100% satisfied customers: have no system in place to receive complaints.

Yeah, I have tried.

With various different browsers.

But I get stuck trying to enter the PH name/ branch & the date. It won't let me select a date and I cant type text into the space where the branch details go.

As I say, they don't want you to complain....

If you look on their T&C's they have a paragraph on how to complain about a service.

Some of the outlets are franchises, others are run by Pizza Hut. Maybe you have to deal direct with the outlet itself.

The T's & C's imply that you can complain to the store about a take-away order.

The restaurant has told me they don't handle complaints and have told me to go on the website.

Great if you don't have a PC or are not computer-savvy.

I looked at their website and found the contact us button (which takes you to another page with a form on it) Your asked to find a Hut, then enter your postcode, find the Hut you went to then click the contact us button next to the place you visited. This then returns you to the form and should have filled in the Hut details for you. Complete the form and send.

(I'm assuming you went to the Didsbury Parrswood Hut ??)

I'm amazed. How can a store not take complaints? Do they not have a duty manager?

Edit - re-reading your op, did they agree to supply the cake and balloons when you booked the place?

My niece aged 10 had a great party there (chester) making their own pizza aswell so i suspect you must have visited a dodgy branch proberly run by a rubbish manager fresh out of stocking shelves in tesco . I hope your son had a great time anyway

The branch in question os in the same block as a multiplex cinema and the only other eatery adjacent to it if Burger king (I think), so they don't need to bother making the effort since there will always be enough customers unaware of their shortcoming. Ironically, on the other side of the road is....(you guessed it)...a Tesco

Me too. I hope your ire, secure, didn't spill over into the party!

The BK is closed down, soon to be replaced with a pasta joint. There's also a Nando's there. And yes, there is a Tesco on the other side of the road.

You get brownie points for telling me what was there before the Tesco was built. ;)

He did enjoy it. And it didn't spill over!

I didn't tell him about the balloons or the cake as they were to be a surprise (good job really). My M-i-L mentioned the lack of cake abd balloons when we paid but the waiter did not say a thing. Needless to say, I did not pay a tip.

A real man would poo into a bucket for a week, then take it down there in the middle of the night, and smear it all over their windows.

I have neither the time, the inclination nor a bucket big enough.
